Overview
HOHdle is a fan-made trivia game. We collect only what we need to run the game and save your progress. We do not sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.
What we collect
If you play without an account: nothing identifiable. Your game state is stored locally in your browser only.
If you create an account: we store your email address, the date you signed up, and your game history (streak, puzzle results). That’s it.

Authentication & storage — Supabase
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. When you sign in via magic link, your email is processed by Supabase to send the link and create a secure session. Your game data (streak, results) is stored in a Supabase database hosted in the United States. Supabase’s privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Cookies & local storage
HOHdle uses browser local storage to save your daily game state between visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Supabase sets a session cookie when you are signed in.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@hohdle.com. We will process requests within 30 days.
Children
HOHdle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their email, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date. For significant changes we will send a notice to your account email.
